Welcome to 5 Minute Salon. These terms govern your use of 5minutesalon.com and any purchase you make. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

1. Who we are. 5 Minute Salon is a trading name of Birkley LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13012178), registered office 19 Lion Road, London, N9 9DN. Contact: support@5minutesalon.com.

2. Orders. Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order (for example if an item is out of stock or mispriced), and will refund any payment in full if we do.

3. Prices and payment. Prices are shown on the product pages. Shipping is added at checkout. Payment is taken at purchase through our secure checkout.

4. Products. We show our designs as accurately as we can, though colours can vary between screens. Our wraps are for personal cosmetic use on natural nails; please follow the guidance on our How it works page.

5. Returns. Our 30-day money-back guarantee and your statutory rights are set out in our Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Intellectual property. All content on this site, including designs, images, text and logos, belongs to Birkley LTD and may not be used without our permission.

7. Liability. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

8. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales.

Frequently asked questions

How long do the nail strips last?

They last up to 2 weeks, and with a top coat you can stretch that to around 3 weeks. If you’re hard on your hands (lots of manual work, adventures, or if they’re applied incorrectly), expect closer to 1 week.

Do they extend my nails?

No, the wraps are soft and hug your natural nail, so they don’t add length. You can apply them over nail extensions though: they bond beautifully to plastic tips and actually last even longer than on natural nails, which produce oils that can loosen adhesive. Extensions are entirely optional.

How do I take them off?

It takes just minutes to take off your nail wraps. Push down on the cuticle side with the wooden stick and gently peel the wrap off. For an even gentler removal, work a little body oil or nail polish remover under the edge with the stick first. And make sure you keep the wooden stick after application as you will need it for the removal.

Do I need a UV lamp?

You don't need a UV lamp. Our wraps are pre-cured at the factory, so there’s no lamp and no curing step. All you need is what’s in the box, plus your own nail scissors or clippers.

Will they damage my natural nails?

The damage is minimal compared to that of salon gels. Because the adhesive bonds to your nail, there’s a tiny bit of wear, but it’s minimal, and it disappears once you massage in a little lotion or oil. Used consistently, your nails can keep growing healthy and strong.

My nails are thin. Can I use the wraps without breaking one?

Yes, and they’ll actually help. Each wrap is made of 6 layers of adhesive, gel and top coat, thick and glossy, so they add support and make thin nails feel sturdier. They don’t set rock-hard like salon gel or UV-cured wraps; they stay flexible while giving your natural nails more thickness.

Do they harden after application?

The 5 Minute Salon wraps don't harden like UV gel. Since they’re pre-cured there’s no lamp and no hardening step, so they stay flexible. Once the adhesive has fully bonded over a few hours (you don't need to wait for that process as your mani and pedi is ready right after application), they feel firm and set to the touch.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we ship to over 50 countries, usually within a couple of weeks. Build a box and spend over the free-shipping threshold (shown in your cart as you add designs) and international shipping is on us.

If I don’t love them, can I return them for a refund?

Absolutely. We spent over a year perfecting the formula and designs, and we want you to love them. If your first set isn’t for you, email support@5minutesalon.com within 30 days and we’ll start your refund.
